General Terms for Order Placement and Policies
Acknowledgment of Order:
By checking this box, client acknowledges that all details regarding this order are correct.
Made to Order Products:
“Made to Order Products” – usually are available 4 to 5 day after receipt of an order and payment is made. We are happy to modify colors or change writing and can add text where there is none *in some cases*, however, we cannot make portions of Made to Order Products gluten free, add or subtract shapes or split orders. Custom Orders:
“Custom Orders” usually require at least 7 days’ notice. Completing an order form does not require you to purchase. Orders are not complete until details are confirmed, a quote is given by HCC, and payment is received. After submitting your order request, you will receive an automated email response.
Two-day Availability Orders:
“Two-day Availability Orders” require a minimum of 12 cookies and will be available for shipment or pick up within 2 business days.
Call Ahead / Same Day Pick up Orders:
Orders placed for special products or inventory/case items can be arranged for same day pick up by calling the bakery to confirm your order. Cut off time to pick up same day orders is 3 PM.
Order Changes and Cancelation Disclaimer:
Any changes or updates to orders must be made prior to your order being put into production. Cancelations on any order (this includes cakes, cupcakes, cookie cakes, and all other specialty sweets) cannot be made within 7 days of the pickup date. In the event of a cancellation, Hayley Cakes and Cookies will issue credit for the value of your purchase. That credit can be used in part or in full to any future order placed within 12 months. Refunds may be given upon management review.
Shipping & Pickup Disclaimer:
For orders shipped, Standard third party Carrier rates and terms will apply and is available Monday – Friday normal business ours excluding Holidays. Hayley Cakes & Cookies is not responsible for any damage to product during the shipping process or any delays caused by the shipping carrier. No reimbursement will be offered. Orders shipped via ground do not have a guaranteed arrival date. Though we will make every effort to make sure they arrive on or before the date requested, Hayley Cakes and Cookies will not be held responsible for delays on the part of the Carrier, and no reimbursement will be offered. The date listed on our calendar represents the first available day for your order to leave our bakery. Actual arrival date of shipped orders will vary depending on shipping time and method of shipping selected. In the event you select an arrival date that we are unable to accommodate we will contact you via email to discuss expedited shipping options.
Please verify that your shipping address is correct when placing your order both on your screen and on your auto generated confirmation. In the event that you need a shipping address changed, please contact us and we will happily make every effort to make the correction before your order ships. If your order has already shipped, we may still have resources to change the final destination of an order in transit, however our carriers will charge a redirect fee which will be passed along to you and your responsibility to pay.
All pick up orders can be picked up at the appropriate Hayley Cakes and Cookies location during normal business hours. We will make an attempt to call the customer prior to closing if there are orders remaining to be picked up for that day, however if we are unsuccessful in making contact your order will be available to pick the following business day.
Delivery Options:
Special Courier delivery may be available for some products Monday – Saturday during normal business hours. If you are interested in delivery, please contact the bakery for a delivery quote and arrangements.
SMS Communication
When submitting your order, you agree to be contacted via SMS messages from Hayley Cakes and Cookies for order updates and appointment reminders.
